Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing Gateway Taxis!
We strive to provide reliable and convenient transportation services for all our customers. This refund policy outlines the circumstances under which a customer may be eligible for a refund for a pre-booked taxi ride.
Cancellations by Customer:
Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled pick-up time will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pick-up time will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the total fare.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 1 hour before the scheduled pick-up time or for no-shows.
Cancellations by Gateway Taxis:
In the rare event that Gateway Taxis needs to cancel a pre-booked ride, we will do our best to notify the customer as soon as possible and offer the following options:
A full refund of the fare.
A rebooking for a later time that is convenient for the customer.
Changes to Booking:
Customers may be able to change their booking subject to availability. However, any changes made within 24 hours of the scheduled pick-up time may be subject to a fee.
Exceptions:
This refund policy does not apply to situations beyond Gateway Taxis’ reasonable control, such as severe weather conditions, road closures, or mechanical breakdowns. In such cases, we will do our best to find an alternative solution for the customer.
How to Request a Refund:
To request a refund, please contact Gateway Taxis by phone at 01375515050 or by email at bookings@gatewaytaxis.co.uk. Please include your booking reference number and the reason for your cancellation request.
We will process your request within 5 business days and issue a refund to the original payment method used for the booking.
